| Background: | Dr. Constance Ida MacFarlane established several awards during her liftime. The H. Havelock MacFarlane Memorial Award (570045); and the Dr. Constance Ida MacFarlane Fund (570044) which supports the Dr. Constance Ida MacFarlane Scholarship and the Dr. Constance Ida MacFarlane Prize. On July 17, 2000, UPEI received a bequest of $3,000 from the Estate of Dr. MacFarlane, which formed account #570163 creating the Henry Havelock MacFarlane Ecology Award. This gift was in addition to previous gifts to UPEI that endowed awards in accounts #570044 and #570045. |
