| Description: | Awarded to a first-year full-time student in the UPEI Doctor of Medicine Program at the Memorial regional campus located at the University of Prince Edward Island. Preference will be given a student who actively engages in healthcare related volunteer work. |
| Background: | Alicia Bremner is a proud UPEI alumna having received her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2009 and a Public Administration Certificate in 2007. Alicia also completed a certificate in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in 2010. She completed her MasterÕs in Arts Ð Leadership from the University of Guelph in 2018. She has been actively involved with the UPEI since graduating as a past member of the UPEI Board of Governors and is the past President of the UPEI Alumni Association. Alicia has been an incredible ambassador and supporter of her alma mater and continues to show her loyalty and commitment every day. As an expression of her passion and belief in the new Faculty of Medicine at UPEI, Alicia established this award. |
