|Background:||The Ivan and Blanche Bursary was established in 1995 through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Darrach. They were both students who did not finish the full four years at Prince of Wales College. Ivan delivered milk from family dairy business; in later years, he worked as an attendant with the PEI Department of Health. Blanche was a federal civil servant most of her working life. Ivan and Blanche were Elders in their respective United Church congregations. Both were interested in children with none of their own. They have established this fund as an expression to their Christian faith and their desire to help others.|
