Message to Second Year Nursing Students
Welcome to second year. Hope everyone has had time for rest and relaxation over the summer.
Please note the important information below regarding orientation for clinical, first class, and lab for Nursing 213 and first class for Nursing 203. There are no nursing classes scheduled for Wednesday, September 5.
Agenda for Thursday, September 6
Orientation to N213
Location:Mount St. Mary’s (Motherhouse for Sisters of St. Martha), 141 Mount Edward Road
Time: 9:00-3:30
Instructions:The course syllabus is available on Moodle (See instructions below regarding how to access Moodle). Please bring course syllabus and writing materials. There is limited parking so you may want to park at UPEI and walk across the path to the Mount. If you park at the Mount, use the visitor parking area as the parking in front of the building is reserved for the Sisters. You can return to campus at lunch time as you will have a one hour break.

Lab for N213 (all students registered in N213)
Location: Nursing Lab
Time: 1:30-3:30
Instructions for Accessing Moodle:
- Go to the UPEI Home Page and click on Current Students.
- Click on My Moodle Courses
- Click on Create New Account in the bottom of the Login block on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Enter the information required and click Create My New Account.
- You will need to check the email that is sent and click the link inside it to activate your account.
- In the window that pops up, click on courses, then Nursing, then on N213.
- You should be prompted for an Enrolment Key. The key is N213 (it is case sensitive).
- Once you have enrolled, you will be able to access the course and your course syllabus.
