Student

International students can speak with our international student advisor for advice on accommodations, getting settled, academic matters, cultural adaptation, social events, financial issues, finding faith groups or other personal issues.

UPEI has exchange agreements with a number of universities outside of Canada. These exchange agreements permit students to study at another institution and have his or her credits transferred back to UPEI.

UPEI’s Homestay placements are now being arranged through the UPEI International Relations Office. From the moment you make an inquiry about becoming a UPEI student, to the moment you arrive on our beautiful Island, we want to provide you with friendly and helpful UPEI hospitality.

New Student Orientation (NSO) is the first week on campus for incoming UPEI Students. Facilitated by over 100 upper-year students, it is the most spirited week at UPEI.

New students who are required to upgrade their English language skills are required to participate in the EAP (English Academic Preparation) program.
