Our mission is to support the teaching, research, and administrative computing needs of the University. We provide solutions to the information technology problems encountered by our students, faculty, and staff. We do this by maintaining personal computers, servers, and networks; by developing custom software and by assisting users directly.
Our hours of operation are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
To all Faculty and Staff: Student Lab Software 2012
This is a reminder that in order to accommodate changes to software installed on computers in the student computer labs for the new school year (fall semester), we must receive requests, including installation media (CD's DVD's etc.) and any related licensing information such as serial numbers before June 1st, 2012. Email requests to smahar@upei.ca. Any requests received after June 1st, 2012 will be applied in the next round of software updates. All software installations are required to be licensed as network installations and not single workstations only.
ITSS is pleased to announce a new E-Mail service for Student E-Mail provided through Google Apps for Education. All current students at UPEI have had their E-Mail migrated from the old system to Google Apps automatically.
New students will start with Google Apps. ITSS is pleased to be able to offer this service to all students. We are confident that this solution will address our student’s needs for a robust and dependable E-Mail, calendaring and document creation and storage system.
