Welcome Back Students!  The BEd Student Orientation Week runs from September 7th until the 10th.  First day of classes for all BEd, MEd and PhD students is Monday, September 13, 2010. 

 

 

 

PUBLIC EVENT:   Dr. Kate Tilleczek, Canada Research Chair in Child/Youth Cultures and Transitions, will present Crossing the River to Secondary School: Young People, Teachers and Currents of Educational Policy and Practice.  The presentation will take place Wednesday, September 8, 1 - 3pm in Dalton Hall, room  409.   To find out more about Dr. Tilleczek, check out her profile.

The Faculty of Education offers innovative B.Ed.(pre-service), Graduate (MEd and PhD), and professional development programs that demonstrate excellence in teaching and provide the comforts of a collaborative, human-scale learning community, while affording the challenges of seeing the world through new eyes.

In addition to PEI-based teaching, we offer outreach graduate programs in Alberta and Nunavut. Our pre-service programs include optional specializations in Aboriginal Education, French Education, and International Education. Faculty members teaching and research interests cover a wide range of topics, including:
