Fitness Classes

PIYO fitness classes extended until mid-May. The popular PIYO class has been extended until Thursday, May 17. Lead by Fitness Instructor Bernadette Currie, the class combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. Use your body weight to perform a series of continuous, targeted moves to define every muscle.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:10—12:50 pm
April 10—May 17
Fee: Sports Centre members - FREE; Non-members - $6 + hst drop in rate

All participants must check in at Panther Central desk prior to attending class.

Specialty fitness classes 

A variety of classes which require pre-registration 24 hours prior to start date of class. Six classes per session.

Fee for 1 session (6 classes): Sports Centre members $36 + hst; non-members $45 + hst.
Drop in fee: $10 + hst per person, per class.
Note: Sports Centre drop in passes not accepted for fitness classes.

  • Slow Flow Yoga – Mondays, 4:30–5:15 pm, May 28–June 18. Instructor: Kelly Hughes. (NOTE: only 4 classes)  Fee: Sports Centre members $24 + hst; non-members $30 + hst
  • Slow Flow Yoga – Wednesdays, 4:30–5:15 pm, May 16–June 20. Instructor: Kelly Hughes

Slow Flow Yoga: Build strength and balance on your mat in this fun, upbeat class. Challenging yet safe for beginners with lots of modifications. More fluid than static and set to modern music.   

The Fall Panther Fitness schedule will be announced in August which will include a Membership, Specialty and Cycle classes. Stay tuned!
