Athletic Facilities and Rentals
The University of Prince Edward Island boasts state-of-the-art athletic facilities for students, staff, faculty, and members of the community!
These include:
- Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre
- UPEI Outdoor Artificial Turf Field
- Alumni Canada Games Place Track and Field
Facility Rental
Want to rent the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place or the UPEI Turf?

All bookings must be secured with a major credit card. We require a minimum of 72 hours advance notice for bookings, please. Our facilities are staffed by student monitors and we need time to secure these staff for events/activities at our outdoor venues.
We require 24-hour notice of cancellation for facility rentals. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations under 24 hours notice.
Hourly Rental Fees (May 1, 2024–April 30, 2025)
UPEI Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre
- Full Gym (three courts) - $120
- Two courts - $82
- One court - $47
UPEI Outdoor Artificial Turf Field
- $87
UPEI Alumni Canada Games Track and Grass Field
- $65
*All fees subject to HST.
- Rental fees for UPEI-sponsored events are subject to change due to agreements/contracts with special interest groups or sponsors.
- Users must abide by group policies and rules of use.
