ASAP to September 1, 2023 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding, and departmental requirements)

Under the guidance of the primary investigator, Dr. Margie Burns, assistant professor in the Faculty of Nursing at UPEI, the graduate student research assistant will be responsible for scholarly activities related to an ongoing scoping review.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Complete title and abstract screening as per study protocol
  • Complete full text screening as per study protocol
  • Participate in team meetings as required
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in a UPEI graduate nursing program or related field of study
  • Significant experience in the field of intensive care nursing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
