His term began September 4 and we look forward to working with him over the next three years. Dr. MacDonald did a wonderful job and we appreciate the time and effort that he devoted to this role. Dr. MacDonald has agreed to resume his activity as Vice Chair of the REB.

The next deadline for submitting Biosafety Protocols including new applications, renewals and/or amendments for review at this meeting is Friday September 20 2013. Please ensure that you download and use the current forms from http://research.upei.ca/forms. Use Adobe Reader to complete the forms. Submit one copy of the original protocol with signatures to 200 Kelley Memorial Building. Those protocols received after the deadline will be reviewed the following month.
