Student Affairs will be hosting the UPEI Career Fair 2014 on February 5th, 2014, in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend and develop networks with on- and off-Island companies, organizations, and businesses. Our hope is that these networks will inspire our students and provide career opportunities in the future.
Schedule of Events
9:00 am to 10:00 am - Booth Set Up
10:00 am to 2:00 pm - Students will be given the opportunity to visit the exhibitors
2:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Pack Up
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - On-site Interviews (must be requested on the Registration Form)
Arrival and Parking
You can quickly park outside of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre to drop off supplies, but we ask that you move your vehicle to the CARI parking lot before setting up your booth. Please check in at the registration table, they can show you where your organization will be set up for the event.
We ask that you drop off your supplies to your booth then move your car prior to booth set up to allow room for other exhibitors to drop off their supplies. It is recommended that you bring an extension cord and/or power bar if available.
Parking is available on campus at the CARI parking lot. One parking token will be provided for each organization. Additional tokens can be purchased at the CARI Information Booth.

As promised, exhibitors will have access to a wireless internet connection. A username and password will be made available upon arrival.
Each exhibitor will be provided with a coffee break and lunch for two recruiters. If there are more than two recruiters, please indicate that on the registration form and additional lunches will be provided at $20/person. There are locations on campus where additional food or drink can be purchased at the recruiter’s expense.
Who is attending?
To help students prepare for the UPEI Career Fair 2014, Career Services and the Writing Centre will be collaborating to put on “Resumania 2014.” This drop-in session is focused on resume development and advice. Resumania will take place at Student Affairs, located on the second floor of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre, on February 3rd and 4th from 10 am - 2 pm. Students are asked to bring a hard and soft copy of their resume. A limited number of computers will be available for editing; students are encouraged to bring their own laptops if possible.
