  • The experience of the “Other” in religious life and early Christian origins.
  • Christian-Jewish relations and the experience of antisemitism.
  • The interplay of rhetoric and socio-literary worlds, specifically the sociology of narrative worlds within (largely) non-narrative texts and the role of polemic for self-definition, characterization, and re-socialization.
  • The Apostle Paul, Christian Origins and Pauline Writings.
  • Intersection of Christian thought, theologies, scriptures and faith communities.
  • Biblical Hermeneutics.
  • Hebrew Traditions in Christian Scriptures.
