If you have a Mac laptop and find that you can't share your screen in Zoom/Meet/other videoconferencing meetings, check this:

How to enable screen recording permission for Chrome on macOS as of February 2024:

1. Select the Apple menu (in the upper left corner of the screen).

2. Choose System Preferences (may be System Settings)

3. Select Privacy & Security

4. Screen Recording/"Screen & System Audio Recording"

5. Adjust the slider next to the browser you are using from off to on

6. If prompted, use Touch ID or enter your password to allow Google Chrome to record the contents of your screen

7. If the browser is open, you may be notified that the setting will only be applied after the browser quits. 

Choose either Later or Quit & Reopen. The Helpdesk recommends Quit & Reopen.
