The UPEI International Relations Office is pleased to share information on UPEI's newest exchange partner - Francis Marion University (FMU) in Florence, South Carolina (http://www.fmarion.edu/) and Charles Sturt University (CSU), New South Wales, Australia (http://www.csu.edu.au/home)
FMU offers an excellent learning environment, small enough to afford students personalized attention from faculty and staff, and large enough to let students expand their horizons. Located about seven miles east of Florence, the 400-acre campus is known for its beautiful foliage and landscaping. The University's modern classroom buildings, laboratories, and residence facilities provide a safe, comfortable learning environment for students. The campus also features a number of recreational facilities that are available for use by students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and for use in intramural and intercollegiate athletic competition.
CSU is one of Australia's highly respected national universities offering around 400 courses to students worldwide. CSU is an innovative and progressive, award-winning university, with an international, national and regional reputation for excellence and a consistently high graduate employment rate. CSU's regional campuses offer a unique study experience - you'll have access to the best of city living along with the benefits of a regional lifestyle.
This award is offered to a full-time student who has submitted a written essay detailing his/her interest in studying abroad, how the experience will influence his/her academic and personal aspiration and what being an ambassador for Charlottetown means to them.
