The 2015-2016 competition for Fulbright Canada’s undergraduate exchange program, the Killam Fellowships Program is now open. As a partner institution, UPEI will have the opportunity to have one student spend either one semester or a full academic year studying at a university in the United States. The fellowship carries a value of $5,000 US for one semester, and includes a health coverage allowance. The program also includes enrichment seminars in the fall and spring that are held in Ottawa, ON, and Washington, DC, respectively, as well as funding to travel within the United States to support students pursuing additional cultural experiences.
The application for Canadian undergraduate students, and all of the information students will need regarding the application process and program details are available on the Fullbright website. To the far right of the web page, you can click “here” to retrieve the instructions for Canadian undergraduate applicants, and the application package for Canadian undergraduate applicants. The deadline to submit all your paperwork to the UPEI International Relations Office is January 22, 2016.
Read the Killam flyer for more information on this program for UPEI.
UPEI has exchange agreements with a number of universities outside of Canada. These exchange agreements permit students to study at another institution and have his or her credits transferred back to UPEI. The student is studying under a letter of permission, therefore paying tuition and fees to UPEI.
Agreements are in place with the following partner universities:
Trinidad and Tobago
United States of America
