The Department of English invites applications for a sessional position to teach ENGLISH/ UPEI 1010-2: ACADEMIC WRITING. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

ENGLISH/UPEI 1010-2: ACADEMIC WRITING

This provides an introduction to university writing and rhetoric, aimed at the development of critical thinking, analytical reading, and effective written communication in an academic environment.

Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 9:30 am to 10:20 am

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. Minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree in English and evidence of effective teaching experience in the relevant area. Preference will be given to applicants possessing a PhD in English.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
