The University 100 Program at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor for the Fall 2017 semester. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

UPEI 1030 University Studies- Engaging University Contexts and Experience
This is a course for students who seek a well-supported, strongly integrated adjustment to life and learning within the University environment. This course is designed to create a cohesive learning community for students connecting them to each other and their instructors in the classroom and beyond. The curriculum focuses on helping students to develop the attitudes, study strategies and broad communication and research skills they will need to thrive throughout their post-secondary experience. UPEI 103 is a three-semester-hour course designed for students with first year standing.

Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a Master’s degree or PhD and experience teaching first year experience courses.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
