15-20 hours/week (variable) to a maximum of 200 hours over the term. Must be available afternoons, Wednesday to Friday

$26.75 per hour as per CUPE 1870

January 2018 - April 2018 (term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements)

The Department of Biology of the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a casual laboratory coordinator to be responsible for labs in Biology 3820 (Evolutionary Biology) during the Winter Semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include:
• Attending Evolutionary Biology laboratories to assist students
• Assisting the course instructor with evaluating written work
• Other duties as assigned by the course instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc. in Biology, with a strong background in evolutionary biology
• Experience instructing biology labs 
• Experience grading biology lab reports
