20-25 hours/week (variable) to a maximum of 200 hours over the term. Must be available afternoons, Tuesday to Thursday.
Salary:
$26.75 per hour as per CUPE 1870
Term:

September 2017 to December 2017 (term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements)

The Department of Biology of the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a casual lab coordinator to be responsible for labs in Biology 3260 (Introductory Physiology of Cells and Organisms) during the Fall Semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include
• Attending Physiology laboratories and assisting students with technical parts of labs and with writing reports and performing data analysis
• Assisting the course instructor with evaluating of written work
• Other duties as assigned by the course instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc. in Biology, with a strong background in physiology
• Experience instructing physiology labs
• Good scientific writing skills
