The Faculty of Business at the University of Prince Edward Island has the following opportunities for sessional instructors to teach the following courses in the academic year of 2017/18, subject to budgetary approval:

FALL 2017:

ACCT 4010 ADVANCED FINANCE ACCOUNTING - Part I
This course covers the study of mergers and acquisitions using the purchase method, and accounting for intercompany transactions and their elimination to arrive at consolidated financial statements.

WINTER 2018:

ACCT 4020 ADVANCED FINANCE ACCOUNTING - Part II
This course covers the accounting for partnerships, municipal governments, not-for-profit organizations, trusts and estates, and foreign exchange transactions.

BUS 4440 MARKET RESEARCH
This course will introduce students to the practice of market research. Specifically, students will understand the role and importance of market research in evidence-based decision making, will practice evidence-based market research, and will develop the skills to develop and report on evidence-based market research plans.
Successful applicants will have a minimum of a master's level degree or equivalent with a combination of qualifications and experience.  Applicants for the Accounting courses will be required to have a CPA designation and demonstrated teaching ability in the area of study.

Priority will be given to qualified individuals on the sessional roster of the academic unit.
