The Department of Philosophy at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following course during the Fall 2019 session. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. 

PHIL-2050 Business Ethics
Students explore ethical issues specific to business, industry, and professional conduct. Topics range from corporate responsibilities, product and worker safety, ethnicity sensitivity, sexual harassment, advertisement, insider trades, and environmental stedwardship. Students become familiar with the ethical issues regarding business, and are equipped with the conceptual tools necessary to respond to moral conflicts sensitively and responsibly.

Time: MWF 10:30 – 11:20

Please note that applicants on the UPEI sessional roster for Philosophy will be considered first.

It is expected that applicants will have a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Applicants should submit a letter of application, an updated C.V., a sample syllabus for Philosophy 2050, and the names of three references to:
