The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in: (1) primary healthcare, community, policy and hospital settings (as required); and (2) in long-term care facilities in Charlottetown or Summerside. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with CRNPEI and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in population health and older adult nursing required. Previous experience in clinical supervision of students would be an asset.

Term:    August 25 to April 25, Annually

Fall:   NURS 4010 – Nursing and Population Health
3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
22.5 hours per week

Winter: NURS 1020 – Foundations of Nursing II
2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
20 hours per week

Start Date: January 2, 2019
