The University’s Financial Services Office invites applications for the position of Student Accounts Receivable Supervisor, which is located in the Student Zone of the Registrar’s Office. This position reports to the Student Financial Accounts Administrator. This position involves a wide variety of multi-tasking with deadlines and confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for supervisory duties related to financial transactions in the Student Zone.  These duties include:
• Oversight of all student invoicing, payment processing and accounts receivable
• Invoicing, billing, and reconciliation of sponsored cohorts
• Preparation of refunds and wire transfers
• Monitoring of sub ledger accounts
• Preparation of T2202A’s and T4A forms
• Administering CDN & US student loan programs
• Advising and consulting with Student Aid
• Reviewing accounts prior to them being sent to a collection agent
• Other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful completion of a two-year post-secondary program in accounting, business, or office administration
• Two to three years related work experience in accounting
• Solid knowledge of accounting procedures and functions, specifically in relation to accounts receivable activities
• Detailed knowledge of and experience working  with computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets and database query programs
• Supervisory experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while meeting regular deadlines
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
