Sessional Instructor - Environmental Studies - Faculty of Science (Summer 2018)
The Environmental Studies Program at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a Sessional Instructor to teach a one-week intensive course June 25 – 29, 2018. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
Course: ENV 2240 - “Field Course in Ecological Forestry"
This course introduces students to the principles and practices of ecological forestry management. By combining theory-based lectures and an experiential learning approach at the Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry site students will gain a deep understanding of the forest and forest restoration efforts.
Successful applicants should have a university degree relevant to the subject matter of the course and/or practical knowledge and experience of Acadian forest restoration on Prince Edward Island.
