Keynote Speaker 2018: Dr. Tanzina Huq

UMGRC 2016

On August 11–13, we welcomed graduate students from across Canada who presented on their research! Our theme was “Different Ways of Knowing” and the variety of research presented proves that graduate students approach our work from different perspectives, and that many forms of knowledge are valued. The keynote was delivered by Rebecca Thomas, and plenary presentation was delivered by Julie Bull. Videos of the keynote and plenary presentations are available under “GSA Videos and Media.”

UMGRC 2015

The inaugural University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) Multidisciplinary Graduate Research Conference (UMGRC 2015) was a huge success! In keeping with the 2015 theme, “Emerging Scholars: Illuminating Graduate Research,” more than 70 graduate students from across Canada were able to showcase their work. More than 300 students, faculty, and staff attended the pre-conference workshops. Our keynote address was delivered by Dr. Theresa Bernardo.
