Update from the Chair of the Presidential Search Committee

The following message was also distributed by email to students, staff, and faculty on December 11, 2023.

Dear Members of the University Community,  

The Presidential Search Committee (PSC) met on November 14 and on November 27 and will meet again on December 12. Our current work is primarily focused on evaluating the long list of candidates.

During this process, the PSC is leveraging our tools and training related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Also, the PSC is planning the mechanisms we will use for due diligence reviews as well as the open session with the short list of candidates early in 2024.

Overall, the search process is moving along smoothly and I am pleased that we are adhering to the planned timeline.
