NEW FITNESS PROGRAMMING at the UPEI Sports Centre

The UPEI Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre is pleased to offer a SPRING schedule of classes beginning March 30 until the end of May 2015. Classes are FREE for members, $5 + hst for non-members. Mondays, 12:05–12:50 pm --- Pilates with Body Bar with Tracey Tuesdays, 5:30–6:15 pm --- HIIT with Maria Wednesdays, 6:00–6:45 pm --- Circuit with Lyndsey Thursdays, 12:15–12:45 pm --- Figure Eight with Doris SPECIALTY FITNESS PROGRAMMING Are you looking for a private, small group training opportunity with TRX or Spin Class? We have two Specialty Fitness programs starting next week. Each program runs for 6 weeks, one class per week. Fee is $51 + hst for members, $60 + hst for non-members, per program. Drop in fee: $12 + hst. To register, please visit the Panther Central desk at the UPEI Sports Centre. 1. TRX & Cardio, March 31–May 5, Tuesdays, 6:30–7:15 am Every exercise in suspension training builds functional strength, improves flexibility, balance, and core stability all at the same time! This class contains both cardio and strength components. Instructor: Tracey Gairns-Brioux 2. Beginners/Intermediate Spin, April 1–May 6, Wednesdays, 12:05–12:50 pm By combining a variety of challenging rides, from sprints, intervals, hills and more, this great cardiovascular workout also strengthens and tones your leg muscles. You can work at your own pace since you control the tension/resistance on your bike. Instructor: Doris Ward
