First Annual Social Justice Film Festival

The Island Peace Committee and CUPE Global Justice are excited to announce their partnership with Cinema Politica Charlottetown to bring the First Annual Social Justice Film Festival. From February 13 to 15, the festival will bring together award winning films on a broad array of social justice topics tying into the festival’s overarching theme of ‘Peace and Prosperity, NOT War and Austerity’. The public is invited to the First Annual Social Justice Film Festival will be held at UPEI’s Don and Marion McDougall Hall, room 242. Following the films, there will be brief discussions led by community leaders, groups and organizations. There will be door prizes and popcorn available. Admission to the festival is by donation.
