Breast Health 101 sessions

Posting Date(s)
UPEI’s Department of Student Affairs, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and the PEI Breast Cancer Information Partnership will introduce Breast Health 101 to the UPEI campus. This will be the first time that Breast Health 101 is offered on a Canadian university campus. Breast Health 101 will be offered by a pioneer in the development and implementation of the PEI Breast Screening Program on PEI, Norah Smith. Norah is the PEI Provincial Breast Screening Coordinator, represents PEI nationally on a number of boards, and has over 20 years of experience in breast health. UPEI faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to sign-up for a session. Sessions will be held on November 13, 14, and 20 from 12:15-1:00 pm in the Student Affairs boardroom. A boxed lunch will be provided for attendees. Sign-up is required, as space is limited to 10-12 participants per session. To sign up, please contact Krystal Mayne at kmayne@upei.ca. Please come and join us for a great discussion about breast health.
