Dean of Medicine
The University of Prince Edward Island is establishing a Faculty of Medicine to house a joint Doctor of Medicine degree in partnership with the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Unique in Canada, the new degree will bring together the strengths of both institutions—rural and family medicine, nursing, clinical psychology, paramedicine, veterinary medicine, climate change and adaptation, sustainable design engineering. A UPEI Faculty of Medicine will increase training opportunities for future family doctors and general specialists, and support the medical career aspirations of Island youth.
