Sessional Instructor - Faculty of Arts (Winter 2019)
The Faculty of Arts at the University of Prince Edward Island invites application for a sessional instructor in Arts 1050-2 in January 2019. The position is subject to final budgetary approval.
ARTS 1050-2: Mi'kmaq Language and Culture
This course will introduce the Mi'kmaw language and emphasize speaking and listening skills. It will include cultural awareness, understanding of the Mi'kmaw identity, world and history.
Three hours a week, 3 hours credit
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a good command of Mi'kmaq language. Experience in teaching Mi'kmaw language and culture is required
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
