Professor Terri Kean (Faculty of Nursing) is seeking one research assistant to work on a project that will examine practice patterns of nurse practitioners on PEI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct a literature search on areas relevant to NP practice on PEI
  •   Assist in writing an article for publication
  • Assist with report writing  for the government
  • Assist with writing abstracts for conferences
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for dissemination to government, conferences, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful candidate will have completed at least three years of an  undergraduate nursing program
  • Previous experience as a research assistant
  • Excellent writing/editing skills
  • Strong knowledge of APA
  • Expertise in Developing PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to work independently

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
