The Department of Psychology has two (2) openings for students to perform various research duties under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Strong. Students will be expected to work approximately 5 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attending training and orientation sessions
  • Assisting Dr. Strong in research through scheduling participants, administering neuropsychological tests to older adults, and managing participant data (e.g., scoring tests, data entry, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum third or fourth year students in Psychology
  • Prior experience in a community placement or clinical setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required
  • Interest in working with older adults
  • Familiarity with SPSS is an asset
  • Reliability, dependability, organization

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
