The Department of Applied Human Sciences in the Health Centred Research Clinic is currently seeking a well-rounded student for the position of Student Computer Programmer. The position will be for the summer months of 2021.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the Health Centred Research Clinic team with various projects that pertain to computer programming
  • Ongoing support with a previously developed online platform for tracking wellness
  • Early stage design and development of an application
  • Clinic website support
  • Attend project meetings
  • Prepare user manuals for different programs developed so staff can easily navigate through the system

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in at UPEI in the Faculty of Mathematical and Computational Sciences
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Enrolled in the 2021/2022 academic year
  • Full-time student in Spring 2021

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
