The Chemistry Department requires a Research Assistant to assist with research projects in Materials Chemistry with Dr. Marya Ahmed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To synthesize and characterize peptide based nanomaterials and analyze their biological activities
  • Keep record of experimental work, write protocols, analyze data, discuss and present research results in group meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The students who have successfully completed two years of degree and are entering in 3rd year of B.Sc. degree in chemistry are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge and experience with polymerization techniques, performing biological assays and experience with cell work will be a plus for this position
  • The student is expected to perform independent experiments, analyze data and present results in the form of group meetings
