The Department of Sociology and Anthropology seeks applications for a position as a Student Research Assistant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learning to use iMovie editing suite
  • Basic editing of video material from research project
  • Inserting English captions
  • Creating a series of digital stories
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants will generally be fourth year Sociology and/or Anthropology majors with a successful academic experience
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliability and dependability are a must
  • Knowledge of video editing an asset

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
