The Faculty of Arts at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a sessional instructor in Arts 1050-1 in January 2022. The position is subject to final budgetary approval.

ARTS-1050 - Intro to Mi’kmaq Language

This course will introduce the Mi'kmaw language and emphasize speaking and listening skills.  It will include cultural awareness, understanding of the Mi'kmaw identity, world, and history. Three hours a week hybrid.

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have a good command of Mi'kmaq language. 

Members of the Faculty of Art’s Sessional Roster will be given priority in consideration for this position.
