The University 100 Program, Faculty of Arts invites applications for the position of Sessional Instructor to co-teach UPEI 1030: University Studies with another instructor in the Fall 2022 term. Given recent events, the successful candidate should be capable of teaching online. This course is subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.

UNIV 1030 – University Studies

This is a course for students who seek a well-supported, strongly integrated adjustment to life and learning within the university environment. This course is designed to create a cohesive learning community for students, connecting them to each other and to their instructors in the classroom and beyond. The curriculum focuses on helping students to develop the attitudes, study strategies, and broad communication and research skills they will need to thrive throughout their post-secondary experience.

Three hours a week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) 

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have a Graduate degree or a Doctoral degree.

Please note that applicants on the UPEI sessional roster for the University 100 Program will be considered first.
