Sessional Instructor - Department of Psychology - Faculty of Arts (Winter 2021)
The Department of Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer for the 2021 Winter Semester. We are seeking an instructor to teach the following course in the Department of Psychology. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
4610 PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
This course provides an introduction to the theory and practice of psychological assessment with an emphasis on psychometric issues. The major approaches within the process are examined within multiple contexts such as clinical, school, and forensic settings. Students also gain experience in the application of fundamental assessment related skills such as active listening, interviewing, and test administration. Three hours a week.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a Graduate degree or a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
