Sessional Instructor - Department of Biomedical Sciences - Atlantic Veterinary College (Fall 2021)
The Department of Biomedical Sciences is seeking a sessional instructor to assist in the delivery of the following course to first-year veterinary students during Fall 2021. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
VBS 1010 - Macroscopic Anatomy I
Responsibilities for this position include teaching dissection-based laboratories in canine anatomy. The successful candidate will work as part of a team in the teaching laboratory, and in anatomy dry lab sessions to assist students in dissection and answer questions about basic and applied anatomy.
Applicants must hold a DVM and/or graduate degree (MSc or higher, in anatomy or a related field). Preference will be given to those with teaching experience in gross anatomy, but those with evidence of effective teaching in related fields will also be considered.
Priority will be given to qualified individuals on the sessional roster of the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
