The Faculty of Business at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a sessional instructor to teach in the Graduate program for Fall 2022 semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.

Graduate Course:

BUS 6580 - Statistics & Business Analytics

This course teaches students how to effectively collect and use data to support decision-making in a business context. The course focuses on understanding and interpreting statistical data; understanding how data collection methodology affects the quality of statistical results; and assessing the reliability, usefulness, and limits of statistical information for a particular business situation.

Qualifications:

Because this is an MBA course, we seek applicants with a strong combination of qualifications and experience. Minimum educational credentials include a PhD and/or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. In addition, advanced senior management experience in the course topic is preferred and is a requirement for applicants without a PhD. Prior teaching experience, and knowledge and familiarity with “Evidence-based Management” principles will be considered assets.

Members of the Faculty of Business’s Sessional Roster will be given priority in consideration for this position.
