The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences is looking for a Student Research Assistant to work approximately 10 to 15 hours per week under the supervision of Dr. Sami Khedhiri between April 6th, 2021 and June 30th, 2021, with time off during exam periods. We are interested in a student with good knowledge in statistics and R codes and also good skills in using Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare statistical data on Excel
  • Write R codes to conduct simple statistical analysis and to do some data editing
  • Internet search to find some statistical data and related  information

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants should have good background in statistics and need to have taken statistics courses and R course
  • Must be able to work with excel and use it for statistical data

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
