The Department of Political Science at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a sessional instructor to teach course in the Fall 2021 Semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

POL 2220 POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES (Online)
This course introduces students to the concept of ideology, or the “science of ideas.” It examines the modern origin of ideologies, their various forms and evolution, and how ideological thought affects political change. Surveyed are ideologies such as liberalism, conservatism, socialism, anarchism, fascism, feminism, and environmentalism.

Lecture: 2.5 hours a week.

Successful applicant will have a minimum of a Ph.D. in Political Science

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster of the academic unit.
