Sessional Instructor - Faculty of Education (Summer 2019)
The Faculty of Education at the University of Prince Edward Island has openings for sessional instructors to teach the following course in summer 2019.
ED-4880-3 LA LITTÉRATIE - ÉDUCATION EN FRANÇAIS I (1 FRENCH SECTION)
Ce cours initie les étudiants aux principes pédagogiques généraux et aux techniques de développement de la littératie dans les contextes du français langues première et seconde à l'élémentaire, à l'intermédiaire et au secondaire. En utilisant les documents disponibles dans les écoles et en appliquant des méthodes et des techniques d'évaluation appropriées, les étudiants conçoivent des programmes et des activités en fonction des résultats d'apprentissage du programme d'immersion en français de la Fondation pour l'éducation des provinces atlantiques.
This is a three semester-hour course offered on campus in French to students in our Bachelor of Education (français langue seconde) program from May 29 and May 31 and June 10-26 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30am to 2:20pm.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will normally have school-based experience in a Canadian public K-12 system. For applicants without school-based experience, teaching in other contexts relevant and appropriate to the position will be considered. Successful applicants will have a Master’s Degree in Education.
In all instances, qualified applicants on the UPEI Sessional Roster of the Faculty of Education will be given priority.
THE OFFERING OF THESE COURSES IS CONDITIONAL PENDING FINAL ENROLMENT NUMBERS. ALL SESSIONAL COURSES ARE SUBJECT TO THE FINAL BUDGETARY AND ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL.
