Sessional Instructor - Department of Sociology and Anthropology - Faculty of Arts (Summer 2022)
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor for the Summer 2022 Semester. We are seeking an instructor to teach the following course in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
ANTH-1050 - Introduction to Anthropology (3 Credits)
This course introduces students to the field of cultural anthropology through an examination of cultural practices (religious, political, familial, economic) in various areas of the world. Three hours a week.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants for the above course will have a graduate degree or a doctoral degree in Sociology or Anthropology.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
