The Department of Modern Languages has three (3) openings for students to perform various research duties connected with the Centre d’excellence en français.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Attending training and orientation sessions
  • Assisting the Coordinator of the Centre d’excellence en français, the French assistant and professors in building a database of French academic activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Third or fourth year students in French and/or have a strong background in French
  • Possess an appropriate level of proficiency in oral and written French, including a good knowledge of French grammar
  • Must demonstrate sufficient knowledge in French to interpret the course material
  • Knowledge of French Intermediate Level courses offered at UPEI is an asset.
  • Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Moodle) are an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required
  • Reliability and dependability are a must
