Student Assistant - The Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development
$12.25 plus 4% vacation pay
January 9, 2020– November 30, 2020
The Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development is seeking applications for the position of Student Assistant.
DUTIES:
The student will:
- Assist with social media campaigns;
- Assist in updating office’s website information;
- Assist in coordinating visits with campus guests;
- Assist in the creation of marketing material;
- Assist in database creation and management;
- Assist with email and correspondences;
- Assist with program registrations;
- Assist in the coordination of local and regional meetings;
- Assist with other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will ideally be a senior student and will be familiar with working in a post-secondary educational environment.
- Strong computer, organizational, social media and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities
- Must be able to work in both a team environment and independently
- Sound judgement and experience working with Faculty
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
