Dr. Christina Murray (Faculty of Nursing) is seeking one student research assistant to work on projects relating to her program of research focusing on global health and the experiences of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren of Prince Edward Island.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Assisting with the development of a SSHRC Partnership Development Grant
  •  Conducting literature reviews
  •  Assisting the research team in planning, and implementing research activities
  • Assisting with knowledge translation and dissemination activities
  • Liaising with project partners as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful candidate will have completed at least three years of an  undergraduate  nursing program
  • Previous experience as a research assistant
  • Excellent writing/editing skills
  • Strong knowledge of APA
  • Expertise in developing PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong critical thinking skills
