Research Assistant - Department of Sociology and Anthropology - Faculty of Arts
$15.43 plus 4% vacation pay
October 28, 2019 – December 21, 2019
The Sociology/Anthropology Department is looking for a third/fourth year student to serve as a student assistant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The collection, organization, translation, and transcription of Japanese language resources
- Navigating social media networks, news outlets, and academic websites in Japanese
- Library research
- Creating an annotated bibliography
- Typing up qualitative research data
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Fluency in English and Japanese
- Interest in anthropological research
- Time Efficiency
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
