Over an 8 week period with 8 hours per week, the Department of Development and Alumni Engagement is looking for a student to assist and gain valuable experience in the following areas:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Alumni Engagement

  • Provide a jurisdictional scan of alumni benefit offerings at other educational institutions
  • Create and distribute an alumni survey
  • Complete a demographic review of UPEI alumni
  • Monitor website for accuracy and content

Development

  •  Database management
  •  Gift processing
  •  Assist with UPEI’s annual giving campaign
  •  Assist with foundation proposal writing
  •  Monitor website for accuracy and content
  • Strategize some marketing/promotion for UPEI’s various giving programs

Donor Relations

  •  Edit donor reports
  •  Promote donor funded Scholarships and Awards
  •  Monitor scholarship and Award invoicing
  •  Create and distribute donor thank you letters

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
